Dominion 002 - The Ross

Named for the Ross rifle, the Canadian service rifle of the First World War. A classic motorcycle jacket with a back belt, reinforced back vent and zipper cuffs. Built to the same specifications as our bespoke jackets. Limited to 40 pieces. Numbered and stamped, no restocks.

Design

The Ross is based on one of the earliest forms of the American motorcycle jacket, produced by Leather Togs in the 1930s. Its classic D-pocket—also known as a map pocket—and basic body shape retain the character of the original design, while the overall construction has been simplified and refined.

The offset front zipper follows a gentle hand-drawn curve. Motorcycle-style zip cuffs provide a close, adjustable fit at the wrist.

The back features an adjustable belt and a reinforced vent for ease of movement. The vent is double-stitched for strength. Plain brass belt hardware is used throughout, without engraving.

• Drum-tanned using three custom tanning liquors
• 1.4 mm thickness, shrunken for dense fiber structure
• Natural, uncorrected grain that retains the individual character of the hide

All Himel Bros. jackets are designed with a Tailored Fit as the default.

Our sizes range 38-48. We will email you following your purchase with sizing instructions.

Sleeve length:

Sleeves may be customized by shortening or lengthening them by:

• 1”
• 1½”
• 2”

Sleeve alterations are available for an additional $150 USD.

Because sleeve alterations are custom work completed specifically for your jacket, jackets with customized sleeve lengths are not eligible for return or exchange.

How to measure a reference coat:

• Chest: Pit to pit, flattened out
• Shoulder: Seam point to seam point on back
• Back: Collar seam to edge of hem
• Sleeve: Shoulder point to cuff edge, straight line
• Waist: Across at waist level
• Hip: Across at hip level
• Cuff: Opening width

Ordering

• After your purchase, we will contact you with sizing instructions and help you to confirm your size and any requested sleeve alteration before production begins. If your sizing is not confirmed within one month of purchase, your order will be cancelled and your payment refunded.
• Returns may be requested within 14 days of delivery, subject to Himel Bros inspection upon receipt of the returned item unworn condition.
• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
• Exchanges are subject to product availability. Because these jackets are produced in limited quantities and there is no standing inventory, exchanges cannot be guaranteed.
• Jackets with customized sleeve lengths are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.

• This is a pre-order release. Jackets are expected to begin shipping Fall 2026.
• Orders ship from the United States.
• U.S. customers: No customs or import duties.
• International customers: Standard customs duties, taxes and import fees may apply. Declared values cannot be reduced.

Limited Edition

40 pieces. Numbered 1-40, with hand-stamped labels. Numbers assigned randomly—we cannot guarantee which you receive.
