Dominion 002 - The Imperial

A refined heritage sports jacket inspired by 1930s design. Clean-lined Art Deco cathedral back. Built to the same specifications as our bespoke jackets. Limited to 40 pieces in medium brown and black—numbered and stamped, no restocks.

Design

The Imperial draws inspiration from the Hercules Sports Jacket reinterpreted by John Chapman of Goodwear Leather. While preserving these historical references, it incorporates a more modern fit and tailored silhouette.

The Art Deco cathedral back has been reinterpreted with cleaner, straighter lines for a refined appearance that suits contemporary wear.

Designed with ample sleeve room for ease of movement and comfortable layering. The torso is shaped and contoured, offering a flattering fit on any build.

Leather

Himel Bros. Dominion Custom Teacore Horsehide - Black or Medium Brown*

• Full front teacore horsehide developed exclusively for Himel Bros. with a U.S. tannery
• Drum-tanned using three custom tanning liquors
• 1.4 mm thickness, shrunken for dense fiber structure
• Natural, uncorrected grain that retains the individual character of the hide
• Layered chestnut aniline dye or black aniline dye
• Glossy and waxy topcoat

Note: The Imperial liner is an indigo-dyed linen. As with any indigo textile, avoid contact with light-coloured fabrics when the jacket is damp. See Care instructions below.

Sizing

Dominion jackets are produced in standard ready-to-wear sizes and are designed with a tailored/slim fit. They are not made to measure. The information you provide will help us confirm the most appropriate available size.

Our sizes range 38-46. We will email you following your purchase with sizing instructions.

Sleeve length:

Sleeves may be customized by shortening or lengthening them by one inch (1"), available for an additional $150 USD.

Because sleeve alterations are custom work completed specifically for your jacket, jackets with customized sleeve lengths are not eligible for return or exchange.

How to measure a reference coat: 

• Chest: Pit to pit, flattened out
• Shoulder: Seam point to seam point on back
• Back: Collar seam to edge of hem
• Sleeve: Shoulder point to cuff edge, straight line
• Waist: Across at waist level
• Hip: Across at hip level
• Cuff: Opening width

Please note: Finished measurements may vary slightly due to production and sewing tolerances.

Ordering

• After your purchase, we will contact you with sizing instructions and help you to confirm your size and any requested sleeve alteration before production begins. If your sizing is not confirmed within one month of purchase, your order will be cancelled and your payment refunded.
• Returns may be requested within 14 days of delivery, subject to Himel Bros inspection upon receipt of the returned item unworn condition.
• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
• Exchanges are subject to product availability. Because these jackets are produced in limited quantities and there is no standing inventory, exchanges cannot be guaranteed.
  
• Jackets with customized sleeve lengths are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.
  

Delivery

• This is a pre-order release. Jackets are expected to begin shipping Fall 2026.
• Orders ship from the United States.
• U.S. customers: No customs or import duties.
• International customers: Standard customs duties, taxes and import fees may apply. Declared values cannot be reduced.

Limited Edition

40 pieces. Numbered by hand for collectors. Future drops will feature new configurations and designs.
