The Nelson Pipefitters Shop Apron

This Nelson Pipefitters Shop Apron was inspired by welder, teacher, and all around great guy -- Larry Nelson.  I wanted to create the perfect apron for my shop, kitchen, and all my chores. So, using the welding theme, we crafted a leather and denim selvedge apron. The denim is 11 oz Kuroki Japanese Selvedge Denim, and the leather is a mix-and-match of Shinki horsehide. The apron comes in two basic sizes: medium and large.

The idea of welding meeting a motorcycle jacket resulted in a cross between Japanese denim jeans and an Avro D pocket jacket. The selvedge edge is displayed on the front utility pocket, the double denim liner, and even the adjustable selvedge neck strap. The neck strap buttons are original 1930s deadstock buttons, and the buckle used to fasten the waist is an original brass-stamped 1950s motorcycle buckle. It's difficult to find this much vintage charm in a new item!

The inside double facing features a vintage zipper-closed secret pocket too! For extra customization, Tanya, who runs our sample shop, can custom embroider your apron for an additional fee. Adding "Himel" to the front, for example, would start at around $50. Each request over 7 letters is will be individually priced. 

The leather trim will be offered in either black or brown. Specify your preference below. 

The entire apron is sewn with classic golden denim thread. Each apron is unique, and it will not be "exactly" the same as the sample picture. The pockets will be brass-riveted at the jacket shop.

We ship internationally using DHL from Toronto, Canada. Please contact us for any special shipping requests. We ship in Canada using Canada Post. 
Customers are responsible for any and all fees and duties incurred in international delivery. 

Return Policy: We accept returns on new, premade items, not including made-to-order, or overstock, within seven (7) days. Items must be in new condition. 
We do not accept returns on any bespoke or made-to-order products, limited releases, sample sale, or presale items. 

Presale orders may be canceled for a full refund until the end of the specified presale period, after which no returns will be accepted. Exchanges in the event of an incorrect size can be arranged at Himel Bros. Leather's discretion.
