A refined heritage sports jacket inspired by 1930s design. Clean-lined Art Deco cathedral back. Built to the same specifications as our bespoke jackets. Limited to 12 pieces—numbered, signed, no restocks.

Design

The Imperial draws inspiration from classic 1930s sports jackets, particularly the Hercules Sports Jacket by John Chapman. While preserving these historical references, it incorporates a more modern fit and tailored silhouette.

The Art Deco cathedral back has been reinterpreted with cleaner, straighter lines for a refined appearance that suits contemporary wear.

Designed with ample sleeve room for ease of movement and comfortable layering. The torso is shaped and contoured, offering a flattering fit on a medium build.

Leather

Himel Bros. Dominion Custom Horsehide - Chestnut Brown

Full front horsehide developed exclusively for Himel Bros. with a leading American tannery.

Drum-tanned using three custom tanning liquors

1.4 mm thickness, shrunken for dense fiber structure

Smooth grain, no correction

Layered chestnut aniline dye

Glossy clear topcoat

Sizing

All Himel Bros. jackets are designed with a Tailored Fit as the default.

For a tighter fit, size down. For a relaxed fit, size up.

Take your chest measurement in inches—this generally corresponds to your jacket size. A size 40 jacket measures approximately 44½" in chest circumference, providing about 5" of ease for movement and layering.
