The Himel Bros. design process celebrates the golden age of American sportswear. Our Stadium Club jacket features hand-chain-stitched patches made the traditional way - upside down and backwards - creating unique multicolored embroidery with leather and felt backing. Each jacket in this series (1-11) is signed by David and features authentic 1930s buttons from our private collection.

The body combines heritage Harris Tweed or Pendleton wool, while the knits come from one of America's oldest mills in Washington state - the same facility that supplied the US Army Air Force in WWII. These double-weave military spec knits pair with carefully selected heritage liners to create a jacket that captures the authentic loose fit of 1930s athletic wear.

Stadium Jacket #4 Details:

The shell is crafted from heavyweight Pendleton camel colored wool, sourced from one of America's oldest operating woolen mills. The jacket features old stock iridescent brown and purple 1940s cat eye buttons in hat configuration, with gimped keyhole buttonholes made on a Reese 101 machine. Navy military-style double weave knits come from one of Washington State's oldest knitting mills, authentic to US flight jackets. The front patch is hand chain-stitched on a vintage machine atop a hunter orange felt disc. Japanese-made real indigo cotton with polka dots in stifle pattern serves as the liner. The back showcases our Himel mascot, designed by LA artist @cabreezy, executed on navy blue felt with Hunter orange and navy blue chain stitch detailing.
