The Himel Bros. design process celebrates the golden age of American sportswear. Our Stadium Club jacket features hand-chain-stitched patches made the traditional way - upside down and backwards - creating unique multicolored embroidery with leather and felt backing. Each jacket in this series (1-11) is signed by David and features authentic 1930s buttons from our private collection.

The body combines heritage Harris Tweed or Pendleton wool, while the knits come from one of America's oldest mills in Washington state - the same facility that supplied the US Army Air Force in WWII. These double-weave military spec knits pair with carefully selected heritage liners to create a jacket that captures the authentic loose fit of 1930s athletic wear.

Stadium Jacket #1 Details

Stadium Jacket #1 features a heavyweight navy blue Pendleton wool shell from one of America's oldest operating woolen mills. The cuffs and knits showcase an OD Green double weave, replicating World War II flight jacket specifications, crafted by one of the last original knit factories in Washington state. This size 42 jacket is adorned with egg yolk-colored old stock buttons from the 1930s-40s. The Himel logo patch, backed with matching egg yolk woolen felt, is hand chain-stitched in-house on our vintage machine. Japanese indigo cotton with stifle polka dot pattern lines both the jacket and pockets. The back showcases our Himel Bros mascot, designed by famed LA artist @cabreezy, executed in two-tone chain stitch of Navy and OD Green.
