The Kensington Racer jacket is named for the old Jewish Market in Toronto where we live. The design is based on the earliest café racer we own from Buco of Detroit which had an incredibly clean futuristic appearance with a quite complex pattern. It is defined as a racing shirt due to the simplicity of the single back panel. Early period jackets often did not have the common bi-swing should gussets to allow for easy arm movement. We designed a double v-shape with curved seams to make the forward arm motion work on this style of racing shirt. Each panel has leather piping to cover up the pocket and front zippers and a decorative yolk welt. The arm has a curved shape and tight wrist to prevent the arm from sliding up. The result is a sleek and futuristic tunic look.

Note: This jacket runs large. For best results, we recommend purchasing one size smaller for a normal fit, two sizes smaller for a tight fit, same size for a looser fit.
